What will the kitchen or bathroom remodeling process look like and how long will it take?

The kitchen/bathroom remodeling process consists of the following steps:

  • Measuring your space.

  • Creating a floor plan.

  • Selecting cabinet, finishes, and appliances or fixtures.

  • Creating outstanding design. Nailing down your final design could take several days or weeks.

  • Ordering the cabinetry.

  • Receiving, delivering and installing the kitchen or bathroom products.

  • Ordering any additional required parts.

  • Receiving and installing final parts.

  • Walk through and create touch up list.

  • Completing touch ups including ordering, receiving and installing any last parts.

This kitchen/bath design and installation process is typically one month or could take longer depending on the circumstances and designs of each kitchen or bathroom.

  • The start date for your remodel may be two, three or more months out depending on the size and complexity of your project. For the exceptionally high quality of your finished project, the lead time is reasonable.

  • Processing the order based on the initial design could take a week or more.

  • Production and delivery of the cabinetry generally takes 2-8  or more weeks depending on your selections.

  • Preparation work for your project may take a few days or weeks depending on the extent of the remodeling project.

  • Delivery and installation of the actual cabinets are only a few days.

  • The countertops are usually installed last and may take up to two weeks after your cabinets are installed.

  • Once your cabinets are installed, it usually takes two days to hook up the appliances and plumbing.

Afterward, there are a few stages of touch up, reclamation and finalization of the kitchen or bathroom.
